On-page optimization is a technique which is performed solely on a website by optimizing some of its important elements such as TITLE tag, META tag, H1, H2 and H3 tags, optimizing keywords, links and images.

Off-page optimization is carried out off-the page and include a process called link building. A website is ranked well in search engines only if it has more number of back links from trusted sites. Link building is not such a hard task as one may think of and it can be done in several ways out of which I have considered important ways such as article submission, forum posting, social networking and bookmarking as well as the old techniques like directory submission. But there are a new ways you can do which can you help your site and you can find it out of discovering and experimentation.

"Off-Page SEO" refers to search engine optimization that is external to your website, such as building and or purchasing backlinks, article submissions, social media efforts, etc. "On-page SEO" refers to things such as having your website design be SEO friendly, SEO-friendly code, title tags, meta descriptions, and internal linking. It is important to focus on both types of SEO.
