Default Dynamic SEO

I know that many apply SEO to their static sites with no problem. But dynamic sites seem to be a different type of problem and was wondering if there are SEO techniques better suited for dynamic sites v.s. static sites.

Dynamic sites require highly specialized search engine marketing strategies that differ from those used for static sites. It's still hard to get dynamic sites indexed unless they're properly optimized.

The successful search engine optimization (SEO) of a dynamic web site requires complex search engine technology and methods that are substantially different and much more sophisticated than the SEO techniques used for ordinary, more conventional "static" web sites.

Yes. Previously Google was very rigid in indexing dynamic sites. But now it has got quite reluctant. You should not feel much problem in indexing dynamic sites in Google. But I agree that SEO for dynamic sites should be different in many places from static sites for getting high ranking in search engines.

It's no point in making a static website regarding SEO. The only thing with static websites is that you can put a keyword in the filename (and some belive easier spidering). Well, you can do the same thing with rewritten url's using .htaccess, isapirewrite or custom 404. The url will look like a static one, and according to my experience the spiders will be happy.

If you wan't extra work, go static, if you wan't a functional website, go dynamic.

Regards,

That should be the answer to this problem. You should have a static page inorder to get indexed fast and steady.

If you continue to use dynamic URLs with no rewrite, limit the number of variables that you use (no more than 3). The fewer variables there are in the query string, the greater the chances of some of the smarter spiders (such as Google) indexing your site.

Dynamic sites provide additional challenges when trying to improve upon ones seo. It is generally recommend that a static site is preferable to a dynamic site because its easier for the search engines. That being said if you are able to create a efficient dynamic site, that is set up well for seo. You will have a great looking site with all the bells and whistles.

I'm confused here.. Isn't the problem all about dynamic page and not dynamic urls? I know they completely are different.
But anyways, your dynamic website should have some static content added into it. I think it wont have any problems with the SE as long as it is not completely a flash page or something like that. Flash pages are considered NOT SEO friendly.

Search engine optimization (SEO) and social media optimization (SMO) are two of the bigger concerns. As they can both have substantial impacts on the amount of traffic a website or blog receives.

A dynamic web page is a hypertext document rendered to a World Wide Web user presenting content that has been customized or actualized for each individual viewing or rendition or that continually updates information as the page is displayed to the user.

Classical web page design using only HTML or XHTML, provides static content, meaning that a page retrieved by different users at different times is always the same.
