Offshore web development?

Hi, I'm not in the exact same business as you (but close) and I just spent 2H reading this forum. It's great, so I had to bookmark... and register myself as user (you just got one everyday visitor).

Some of you may be interested that I live in Estonia and can do full service offshore web development. I own a small company called CNS. Mostly we do homepages (both dynamic and HTML-based), 30% of our revenue comes from smaller software projects (like booking systems, different database applications etc.) and we also have our own servers for hosting. We work only with PHP/MySQL, no ASP or other platforms. You can check out our website for portfolio: www.cns.ee .

I have developed PHP/MySQL since 2001 when I founded my company. Since then we have created more than 100 websites (only custom made design, no cheap templates ever) and about 20-30 internet based software projects. We have our own CMS (content management software for homepages), our own intranet software (sales management, project management, calendar, contacts etc.) and our own newsletter software (basically for sending spam). So, no problem with experiences. At office in Tartu, Estonia we have currently 7 full time employees. Server management is outsourced to company who only manages servers.

I guess that I can offer quite low hourly fee compared to US or Western Europe prices. So if you plan to develop anything in internet feel free to contact. For hosting you can't get best price around, but I can meet custom needs. Also I don't know, how fast our servers perform when you watch from USA or Canada.

So far we haven't made any adult or "cash site". Only company, non-profit or govermental traditional websites. But since we have knowledge and experience in SEO and all websites are based in same technology, I guess making adult cash site is no rocket science for us. Many people think that making homepages is something easy, much easier than software development, but for us both work process and platform are actually exact the same.
