SEO has always been important even if 8 years ago it just meant cramming your pages with keywords and guaranteeing yourself a number one spot.

If you're going to describe yourself to people as a web (site) designer it might be a good idea to become knowledgable about it.

This is really an amazing forum as everybody are ready to help one another and as yous aid, i have a lots of things to study before i call myself an web deisgner as i never put so much thinking on th eweb sites which i have designed till now and it will be too much to study now onwards and to ask my doubts, i have to start from scratch and sure i will ask whatever i need to know...thanks for the help

I just got an email from a friend stating there's something in the works concerning search engines that will blow everything else out of the water because they will take you behind the scenes to reveal EXACTLY how search engines work and how to use it to your advantage. Google would reveal it's algorithms to the open? I can't imagine... everyone would exploit it! The black-hatters would exploit it to death, then google would have change the algorithm again...

Seo it's all about content and link building, but you can't outrank the sites that Google consider them Authority Sites.

I have done a lot of things that u have mention on my websites but no traffic yet, no google top ranking what I am suppose to do u can see my website and tell me where I am wrong its a long time not getting any traffic.

The way I understand SEO is that you have to have the best keywords. Thsi is something that I don't fully understand yet. Maybe someone here can shed light on this for both of us.
