Default How to get Backlinks to Website..

Here are some few methods of generating backlinks

    1. Reciprocal Linking - this is where you link to another site that provides the
same service or product as you and they in turn have a link to your site on
    theirs.
    2. Site Submissions. Submit links for your site to directories which allow free
submissions, or if you can afford it, some paid directories. There are
many sites around which offer a service where you can submit your site
details to numerous sites. Plus, if you want, you can always create your
    own directory of similar websites.

    3. Articles. This is another way of getting great backlinks. So if you have a
reputable looking site that contains informative, well written reviews, then
there is a good chance that your articles will receive high search engine
rankings also. But it is vital that any articles you write are on the subject,
informative and thorough in relation to your site. Also you could always
write a few articles for submission to article sites such as
EzineArticles.com or SearchWarp.com. This is another great way of
getting even more backlinks to your site.

4.Blogging. This has now become an integral part of the internet, and is
one of the most effective ways of linking. You either have the choice of
placing a few words of comments on to someone else’s blog, or you may
want to link to them from your own blog. In fact, you will find that most
blogs will be happy to link back to you. However, it is important that you
try to update your blog regularly and post interesting content to ensure
that people will want to link back to you.

Excellent list of ways to increase backlink count. Now I have used article marketing and link baiting quite a bit for my blogs, but still don’t seem to be getting the amount of links I need to be at the top of my niche. Perhaps guest posting would be another good option.
Link building is very helpful especially with the way the economy is right now, it can help get your sites traffic and result in sales

Quality backlinks and content both played equivalent role in gaining search engine rankings.
If the content is poor, no matter how many links you build. You will not get benefit by link building until you optimize your content. On the other hand, quality content is price less, if search engine can not reach to your content. As many times search engine crawler reach to your content it will help you for the traffic.

So, keep building links and optimize content regularly, you will get benefit very soon.

Right now I'm not using press releases for my linkbuilding efforts but I know how powerful they can be in giving link juice to your pages. I've also read a report from a guy who used a press release to rank his new website in under 30 minutes.

I really don't use back links that much, but when I do I make sure it's in a psychological order that has my viewer clicking away to the payment page.

Default All Time Most Effective Way to get Backlinks to your Website

There has been so much fuss about how to get the best links back to your site. A lot suggested that reciprocal linking is the way to go and yet you get this reminders that not necessarily all backlinks are credited by search engine specially Google to a particular site if such link source is not related to your site.

Another is the submission to website directories which is a really over rated form of pr improvement, the benefits of submitting to these directories is not equal to the effort you put into it.

Directory Submission is a very tiring process where you must first find which directories are free submission sites because as a personal experience most of the website directories on the web are paid services. Some would even cloak product marketing by using commonly formatted paid directory submission software just to improve the homepage visibility and pr rank.

And the most discouraging about website directory submission is that in the process of adding your site to the directory many of the free directory submission site would require you to immediately put up a reciprocal link to their site even before your site is approved. The result would be they do not approve your site and their site already has a backlink from your site.

    1. Post in forums and include a link to your website or one of its pages.
You should choose a forum that is relevant to your website's topic, and that allows its users to post links without the rel=nofollow tag. (This tag tells Google to disregard the link, although in my experience Google follows the link anyway, and in some cases even gives it a lot of weight, boosting the ranking of the target page - Google PageRank is overrated. For best results the links should be contextual: that is, they should be a natural part of the text. Write good, substantial, useful posts with a few contextual links to high-ranking websites, including your own. Make sure that the anchor text of each link is totally relevant to the target page; never use "click here" as the anchor text!
    2. Syndicate content
Write articles and syndicate them on eZinearticles.com or some other service. Make sure the article contains a link to your website. These websites tend to rank quite highly and they are an excellent source of back-links. Of course users who decide to publish your articles will do so with your link.
    3. Let as many people as possible know about your articles
The more people know about your articles, the more likely you are to get unsolicited inbound links. These links can come from a social book-marking website such as del.icio.us, or they can come from private websites.
If you have written genuinely useful articles you can ask online library services to link to you. Not all websites are suited to this sort of thing. If you sell shoes, it's going to be extremely difficult to persuade a library or authoritative directory to link to you.

Conversely, if your website's business is technical, there is plenty of scope for the creation of the sort of articles that authoritative libraries and directories are willing to link to. Do not approach them before you have produced a least 15 pages of extremely high-quality content. College websites are also great for this. You should contact them before filling your website with ads or anything else that is too commercial, if that is what you are aiming at.
    4. Hold an online competition offering a desirable prize.
Word will spread fast and people will start linking to you in forums and blogs.

The key here is to make the competition something that people will want to discuss online

Right, I personally don't like directory submission either.

Search engines will not attach lots of importance to all directories, but only quality and reliable directories like DMOZ. Yet It will take a lot of time to get enlisted to them.

For backlink to website use the following tips...

    1. Before you get backlinks, you need to create some interesting content. The best backlinks aren't created by you, but are formed when someone finds your site interesting and decides to link to it.

    2. Create backlinks using paying article sites like Ehow. There is a huge abundance of article sites that will pay you money for views or share in Adsense revenue. You should join a lot of them and create articles that relate to your website or blog. The money you receive from these sites may surprise you. These sites include Xomba, Bukisa, Ehow, Squidoo, and Infobarrel.

    3. Create backlinks using social linking sites. On these sites you will post links to your site along with a short description. This description is generally about 50 words or less. These sites include Redgage, Shetoldme, and Propeller.

    4. Write articles for non-paying sites. You will want to write for these sites because they generally have a high pagerank and sometimes other webmasters will post your content on their site with a backlink to your site. These sites include Ezine Articles and Articles Base.

    5. Put your link in your forum signatures. This will send targeted traffic to your site as well as creating useful backlinks.

    6. You can put your link on your Facebook or Myspace page, but Google tends to ignore these kinds of sites for backlinks.
