Most of the time, I unsubscribe those emails that continuously drowning my email with nonsense ads. If the unsubscribe strategy isn't effective, I block their email addresses. Also, I make sure that I'm not using my personal email for this item.

What amazes me about free accounts is logging in to find the spam filter full of enhancement pills and Viagra offers. I don't need any of that, I haven't signed up for such products nor have I accessed any adult websites.
That is one of the sole reason I don't sign up for yahoo or hotmail free account anymore.

Good tips. I have noticed in the last week my hotmail account is allowing emails that would normally be going into my junk folder. Just another reason to get a personal one.

* Read and understand policies (including EULAs) when registering at a website (examples: before downloading or using the website) or signing a purchase receipt from retailers before giving your consent or permission.
