If any one is looking for Free Video Screen Capture tools, I recommend two:

(1) Screenr. Made specifically to be integrated into Twitter (or not). Very, Very simple to use. High Definition quality (even on an expanded screen). 5 minutes of recording. You can pause. And even upload to iPhone. Web-based. Mac and Windows compatible.

(2) Jing. Made by Tech Smith (creators of Camtasia Studio). Mac and Windows version available. Easy to use. Pro version ($15) allow you to upload to You Tube, and use webcam with your videos. 5 minutes of recording on both Pro and Free.

There's also Cam Studio which works well: http://camstudio.org.

Doesn't have a built-in editor so you would need other editing software, but Windows Media works just fine if you can't afford higher-end software.
