You can go to the "marketplace" section of clickbank and click on the "create hoplink" tab on the menu and you can enter your username and your link will come out. That is the link that you will be using to be credited for a sale.
Don't worry about "fried" cookies. Clickbank has improved their system, so even if a user deletes their cookies, you'll still be credited.
Once you find a product you want to promote it's just a matter of clicking on the "create hoplink" link, inserting your user ID, and then copy and pasting the link into your blog page. Whenever someone clicks on your hoplink and makes a purchase, you'll be credited for the sale.

i believe clickbank has a great system, there will be a good mechanism to solve the problem you concerned .
in other side, there are many ways for some people hijack you affiliate links, to steal your comission. of course, we also have our solution, set up a redirect page will be a good choice: you set up a page, redirect to the sales page through your affiliate link, it will keep your link safe.
