Default "Sunshine Bad", No, "Sunshine Good"

So sunshine is bad because UV rays contribute to development of cancer. But sunshine is good - it promotes production of vitamin D, a cancer antagonist.

Dammed if you do, damned if you don't.

Growing up, I remember the same thing with eggs. "Eggs Bad", "No, Eggs Good".

"Coffee bad, it stains your teeth"

"No, coffee good, fights dental plaque, has antioxidants"

Boogaloodude, this one's for you. I'm baiting you out.

Yes, it is, but that's not the point - I was just trolling for Boogaloodude in response to his recent suicide post.

Have you never heard that term before? I read it on another forum's rules that said "suicide posts" are not allowed. And then they also mentioned "reincarnation posts" which you could probably guess what that means.

Yeah, well see, I like the stuff that Boogaloodude writes about. And I like the stuff you write about too. When you guys "get into it" it's quite entertaining, like springer, but much more intellectual and without flying chairs. The heated discussion in the chilling out forum has been a great source of entertainment for me. I mean, I sometimes get home and I'm excited to check out some of the threads. I think, "I wonder what Boog has to say in reply to what Colin said" or vice versa. I don't watch TV*, so this is my entertainment.

And Boogaloodude, as others have expressed, your insights are appreciated here. And this may sound weird, but some of your posts have actually influenced my life in ways, like my attitude toward environmental issues for example.

So Boogaloodude, I'm looking forward to a "reincarnation post" just as I'm hoping our lost brother Biff Farnsworth will soon be released by the aliens who abducted him a while back.

    Peace y'all.

    * Ok, I have a 3 year old son who has exclusive control of television programming in my house. I do watch a lot of Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends, Noddy, Angelina Ballerina, Kipper the Dog, Caillou, Sesame Street... Basically, I don't have many media influences of a mature or intellectual nature. Internet forums like eWealth are all I've got, and maybe the teletubbies

Love the suicide post comment (though unfortunately it is a real issue for those f*cked up enough like guy in Finland/Germany recently that took out a bunch of others with him....)

...anyway, back to the post. I am quite excited about VitD because I saw a recent news report of s/one wheelchair-bound with multiple sclerosis who took 100 x the daily recommended amount and after about three weeks was able to start walking again...my aunt had that disease for almost 30 years before it took its toll, so if this is a ray of hope for that disease I hope it really works.... spread the nooz!
I work HARD at IM so I hate it when a puny 17 year old makes 6-figures a year!
I call him the $100K Kid. Training methods start at a lousy $1.oo!

Man does that familiar! I get to watch those programs all day then the brother gets home from school. Then it's video games thrown into the mix. The wife gets home and I'm number four on the TV chain. I can override everyone on the computer. I just have to say something like "how much money did you make off pogo last month." "Did you make enough to pay rent yet". Then I can work or goof of at ewealth.

On behalf of Big Pharma INC., I'd like to kindly ask you to stop spreading this kind of heretical nonsense.

Oh, and since I'm on to the topic of Big Pharma, I'd like to share a couple of Big Pharma rants delivered by Bill Maher (these are good)

It's a wonder ewealth have lasted this long without all these rules. From now on all threads have to end in "Y" .
