What will happen to our friend Dean from SiteAdvisor?
I just now received an email response to my complaint about our friend "Dean". (Pretty good customer service - response time only 3 weeks
)

I just looked at some reviews by someone
named "dean". How is it possible for one person to leave so many
reviews in less than a minute? These are false reviews, as are many
reviews on your site, and it's damaging many legitimate websites. I
hope you either change up your formula soon, or you're going to need
a large lawsuit fund.

Someone left a link here a few weeks back to Siteadvisors complaint form. There is a guy named dean on SiteAdvisor that is leaving bad reviews for Clickbank, and any site linked to clickbank. And he's leaving the complaints at such a pace, that it must be fully automated. If you look into his previous reviews and the times that they are left, you'll see that he will sometimes leave over a dozen reviews in under a minute. Dean also happens to be the top reviewer on the site.
Any ways here is a link to a previous thread about him:

Hey Gen- they must have sent out a bunch of these emails today at the same time.
Who knows, it may be dean using the same automated software.

I've resent them an email asking Andrew if dean's posts will be taken off as SiteAdvisor is now responsible now that it has been brought to their attention.
Will probably get the same automated response. They are really trying protect themselves using the "free speech" b.s.
If they don't do anything about this, this "free speech" is going to turn against the people behind SiteAdvisor. Such as posting feedback on every single site dean has posted a review on about the criminal history of McAfee/SiteAdvisor. This way every single person who relies on this SiteAdvisor tool, will learn about McAfee's criminal past and their way of getting hired people to post negative reviews to ruin good companies. After all if its free speech, we can say whatever we want about SiteAdvisor if they are going to allow people like dean to do so and spam the system.
In a few weeks hopefully I'll get a real reply about dean. Not likely though.
If SiteAdvisor is aware of Dean and confirmed that he doesnt qualify, and yet doesnt take off his false posts after we have requested to do so, is SiteAdvisor now responsible?

Maybe someone should setup a software responder like deans, and instead of a review, blast out a tutorial on how to uninstall siteadvisor from their computer. I'd be willing to bet that their "free speech" stance wouldn't cover that.

I received the EXACT same response to my complaint as all of you.

Maybe in time something will be done about this Dean person, but I don't expect it happen soon.
