Hello Everyone
I've started using google adwords recently to promote niche products. However, I want tracking of each clicks generated from search results in my database. So I have given each promotion individual URL to my site (i.e. if someone clicks my ads it gets registered in my database).
The problem I have found with google adwords is it does not allow you to have separate URL for individual keywords. Say for example I m advertising "shoes". Now, I may have 100s of keyword for shoes. In order to check which keyword is performing better I need track in my database, so I've given each keyword an Id.
Can someone explain if there is any way to have individual URL for each keyword for a given adword campaingn.

Salutations bhav27
Go to the screen where you can see all of your keywords for the adgroup.
Click the checkbox that selects all of the keywords (it's next to the word "keywords" at the top of the keyword column).
Click the button that says "EDIT KEYWORD SETTINGS"
Now you should see where you can add different destination URLs for each keyword.
I keep the URL the same but append a variable.
Let's say that my destination URL is www.ewealth.com. I would do something like this...
Keyword affiliate marketing URL http://www.ewealth.com?keyword=affiliatemarketing
Keyword bifftiberiusfarnsworth URL http://www.ewealth.com?keyword=bifftiberiusfarnsworth
Etc...
This is very easy to track and report on in your weblogs.
Hope this helps,

But when I start creating adwords from scratch google allows me to select more than 1 keyword for a single campaign. But it only allows one ad text.
So do you recon when I finish creating ad text, google will give me an oppertunity to change destination URL for keywords in that campaign?

Yep
You have to create it first and then go back into the adgroup to do what I described above.
Just remember that the root of your destination URL must match your display url.
For my example above, the display URL would be www.ewealth.com

One thing to keep in mind. When you change your destination url you are likely to be charged a different CPC for it.
I've had it happen to me when I build specific landing pages for my destinations. If you are sending the traffic to the same landing page and want to know which keywords are perfoming better you can try conversion tracking from google.
If you can get your merchant to add the code to their page you can see exactly which one convert into sales.

You can avoid the resetting of ad history/CTR when you change a destination URL by using kw level destination URLs and just changing them instead.
