What the best keyword research program? I'm using AdWord Analyzer and it's pretty good, but it's slow and I'm starting to doubt the accuracy of the CPC and Estimated Clicks. Are there better keyword research tools available that won't bankrupt me? Wordtracker is a little much for me right. If I can get the hang of PPC, then it's something I'll consider.

Haven't tried it but I hear keyword elite is good. Still kinda spendy. your cheapest option is to get a big list ready and get a short term membership to worktracker.

Why not just use all the options in Google AdWords? I use the keyword tool with lots of success and it doesn't cost anything extra. They've made some improvements over the past few months. I was using adwords analyzer, too but had so many problems I don't anymore.

I like Good Keywords v2, and the Google tool.

They're free, hooray.
WordTracker is good for some specific applications (I buy a short-term membership sometimes, like Adrian suggested), but I find the web interface clunky and slow to load... I like GKW much much better for everyday use.
Although I did just notice GKW has a "gold" version (http://www.goodkeywords.com/products/gkwgold/) for $97 with some cool features. I'm going to try this "fully functional" evaluation copy of it now... maybe I'll buy it. I've used the free GKW so much that softnik deserves the money :)

Here are a few things I would suggest that I find helpful:
First, start off by reading 5 Days To Success With Google Adwords by Perry Marshall which can be found at www.perrymarshall.com/google/day1.htm. it is free to read, and all of the course is laid out on this site.
Next, go to http://keyword.secretstohighprofit.com, www.goodkeywords.com, and www.keyworddensity.com.
Sorry for the overload. But with this information, your results should take a complete turn around. You won't know what hit you! Good luck, and I wish you all the best.
