Joe,

even though they are getting clicks, it could be your ads. Think of it this way, the key to a successful campaign, is a perfect marriage between your keyword, your ad and the landing page.

I would strongly suggest signing up for Perry Marshall's free Adwords course (http://perrymarshall.com/cmd.php?pg=SC339756), he is the leading expert on Google Adwords.

Best of luck!

P.S. Welcome to the forum... :)

Dude...

Never start by promoting work at home stuff....at least if you're using PPC...go find a passionate group of ppl...see what they're buying and put up a campaign for that...need some ideas on what is hot?

pulse.ebay.com

(yes you may have to promote non-clickbank products)

I would suggest getting some different keywords. Work at home keywords are soooooo exspensive! Not to mention competitive. Try narrowing your niche down, you may not get as many clicks but you may see a better return!

The main thing when setting up an adwords campaign is relevancy. Do not be broad when choosing keywords.

Ok thanks guys...

I got my first sale today...

Also, took someones advice and changed what I was promoting...it is still in the work at home type and I used a cloakiing script from my website. But I used more specific keywords. You know I used to do this with yahoo search marketing with dvd x copy...but I don't know it just didn't click until I read everyones input. Oh and this time it only took 3 clicks for a sale...but now I know it converts. Thanks guys...

Thanks,
Joe

Also it could be your presell. That is a major factor in getting your customer to purchase a product. You have to spark interest and emotion within them!

I agree with Gsellers. You just have to spark emotion with your customers! Keep on it boy,it works.

Even though i did not ask the question, you guys gave a lot of helpful advice. I did not realize how tough it was to break into the work at home market. Thank you.

Hey! I know exactly what you mean. Try using Kanoodle.com for your advertising. They are a lot cheaper than adwords for top positioning. Also, in my opinion, I think it helps to be as specific as you can about what your site has to offer. That way anyone clicking on your ads (that you're paying for) won't be disappointed and has much more potential to click through to what your selling and possibly buy it. I have been using a program called Super Money Making Secrets (http://snein.sellpower.hop.clickbank.net) and there is alot of detailed information about promoting products and optimizing your sales. Hope this helps. See ya!

Now people may not agree with me here...

but from my extensive experience 2nd tier PPC engines simply suck.

Kanoodle and GoClick have been reported (myself and my team's affiliates) with a vast majority of clickfraud. It's mostly poor-quality content, scraped, expired domain, or feeder site dependent traffic.

If you're new to PPC, don't be lured into their cheap prices, you will be paying for a LESSON .... that these simply don't work consistently.

In my experiences, use Adwords first and foremost. Then use a little Yahoo search and MSN. All the other PPCs have been garbage.

And like others said tighter keyword groups that more closely match your ad and landing page.

Most people always rush to adwords when it comes to PPC. Let me tell ya a secret,I agree adwords converts, but with alot of competition!!!
If u wana avoid competing with the gurus, The use Yahoo PPC. I know it converts because I use it!
Good luck!!!

I would recommend finding a mentor who is already making money in what every niche you are getting started in and follow his or her every move.

This is how i became so successful so fast!

Laters,

Instead of selecting work at home, put something else which will work as work at home is very compititive as you also know
