I guess it would depend on the product that you were selling.

I haven't really tried that market. I have heard that its hard and not worth the time. But I am sure someone has to be cashing in. :)

I have made some accounts and tried the myspace marketing but I got only couple of sales for 1 month which sucks. You can try to do it but make sure you establish a relationship with your "friends" before you offer them products.

How do they charge? If it's CPM, I would imagine it would get costly.

I didn get what you meant by your last post.
I think this might help: You make your clickbank campaign, but in Myspace putting it on discussion boards, blogs and friends comment pages.

If you have any questions please ask I will be glad to help you

I don't think it'd be worth my time, but I'll look into it...I'm just now starting out and need some free ad space to use I don't have money to spend on ads! Myspace is free and I am in the process of building my website (free website...score!) but thanx for the input!

I am guessing very untargetted and a waste of money

If you check around at some of the other forums there is a big discussion on lawsuits due to spamming. Be sure to read up on the rules before you do anything with Myspace.

Yea that is the sweetest thing about it. Its all free you don't have to pay any money for the traffic. Its a business that will go away eventually.

The best way to convert sales of course is to get targeted traffic. You can get lots of traffic from marketing on MySpace, but most of it will just be random surfers.

However, if you really put some effort to building yourself a community of users, it could payoff.....but it's definitely not a quick and easy payoff.

I definitely agree with you. A lot of traffic can become sales of course there comes profit. All you need to do is get your targeted people and convince them to check out your products.

It all depends on how much time you spend there and how much earnings you get in that as "Time is money".You have to calculate before getting into something.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

be weary of what and how you promote through myspace as they are astarting to dish out lawsuits to spammers etc..

yeah, thought myspace went ape on some guys who they claimed spammed. Untargeted traffic does convert for some niches though so I guess they thought it was worth trying.

Personnally I am not interested in that.
There are so many other ways, and this one demands ALOT of effort...

Anyways, from what I understood it does.
