i think im getting punished...
just sat up a new campaign.... google sat all my KW too minimum 13$ a bid.. Do i have to submit the 13$ before they can start lowering it again....or will they lower it if i sit and waut for a few days? Quality score is good for the campaign...so i think its just some punishment..

You mean $13? That must be because the keywords you're using don't have much in common with the landing page, and that's what google is punishing.

a have only 5 KW and they are right on target,,couldn't be more relevant..... hmmmmm

Is this your site or a merchant site?

If its a merchant site, make your own landing page and if its your landing page try sending them to the merchant site.

It's either that or that the keywords you're using actually cost $13 which is unlikely. Have you tried the yahoo keyword tool to see what people are bidding on Overture? Google is always cheaper.

Don't bid $13 for even a short time unless your ROI justifies it.

I just found out that the 'Google slap' change to landing page quality might also factor in the number of pages on your site. If you only have a couple of pages, or evne just one, they penalise you by bumping your bid price.

Mind if I ask how many pages your site has?

the same thing happened to me a few weeks back and it was driving me crazy. I had only 2 kws on one campaign with one kw exact match for ad title and a $12 minimum bid. someone suggested maybe i built the kw list first before i created the ad, which i think i might have. anyway i now make sure i build the ads first then the kw and i have had no problems lately
