Currently, I am testing 3 campaigns, one website per campaign. I believe all of them have themes that each have monthly searches in the 10,000's. I have about 500 -1000 keywords for each of them, and the parent keywords from which I generated these keywords from are the most popular/Highly targeted. I started my bids at $.05, and I only have many at $.10. The problem is that I 've been getting very few impressions within 24 hours, just a few hundred, and most of the keywords have none at all. The clicks that I have gotten from the few impressions from just about a hanful of keywords have given me good CTR's, but this testing is very slow. I want to see if these websites are profitable and will each give me 1 sale for each 100 clicks, but it looks like it will be a long wait to see. I was told by one Google Marketing Guru that Google take 4 days to review an account, so after 4 days my impressions and clicks should increase, however when I read about other people's success, they seem to make money withing the first day, meaning their campaigns have immediate activity. Somene please help me figure out what is going on with my impressions.

For sure the traffic increases over the first couple of days.

I recommend reading Five Days To Success With Google and Adwords by Perry Marshall. It can be found at www.perrymarshall.com/google/day1.htm. It's free and all of it can be read right there on the site.

Thank you xor0, and reina for your advice, I really appreciate you taking the time to help me. I have gotten more daily impressions, however I still have many keywords that have gone unsearched that are very popular/highly targeted, so now I think that my ads are not showing for those keywords, because there are people already advertising those urls on google adwords, and my ad is not better than there's. I'm not taking the thought to heart, because I quickly came up with my ads to run a quick test, I know I can do much better. Thanks again for your advice.

You need to increase your bids, this is the reason you dont get enough impressions.
i recommend just for testing sake, take your campaign and limit your budget to $10 a day.
then raise your minimun bids to 20-50 cents per click.
(do this for only 1-2 days) , this will give you a good insight about the traffic and real costs of those keywords.
