Here are some ideas:

forget the surveys.

For affiliate marketing: I would buy "google cash" or one of those books for the overall basics, then if you want to go into google adwords, buy a hardcover book on google adwords from amazon.com

You dont have to use google adwords for aff marketing, you can also use banner advertisements or free classifieds

For adsense: Generate revenue from visitors and not membership fees)

Buy a book on google adsense

Survey sites are mostly crap. You can do some affiliate marketing for free using classifieds.

Ebay is also a good option.

yeah, forget surveys and all the bs. Basicly you need to launch a website or few and promote them, get more traffic. Then you will earn as affiliate-when people buy something through your site. Plus you can have adsense ads-you get paid for each click surfers click :)
More visitors to your sites=more money

Thank you all so much for helping me out. i really do appreciate it. i have recently signed up for the Greenfield surveys site....i think thats what its called....but i have no money yet.....so im not gonna waste my tiime, and i willl read all the ways to make money online because i am really interested.

From my understanding, you have to have money to make money online.

so what should i advertise on my new site? i produce music for rappers in my town....so maybe i can advertise that :)

i will also look into that "ADSENSE" program from google.

LOL, sometimes I associate being a affiliate marketer as being a matchmaker. You are promoting other peoples products and selling them to other people, using your site, your email list, your blog etc.

So do your best to figure out what group of people you want to attract to your site, and what do you want to sell to them ....that they would buy ....at the same time you would earn a few bucks per sale.

Its all about supply & demand. You got to know when to hold em & when to fold em. Make sure you know your audience & your products. Blessings Diana

Yeah, they get together and weed out the bs. I once got a deal on memory from there where I got 2GB and after rebates made almost $10.
Oh, and I get free samples from links there. I haven't paid for shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. in over two years LOL!!!

I am a fan of Travis BM theory and just got his last email where he explains his position on this in a very clear way. It is DEFINATELY supply and demand or perhaps more correctly DEMAND and SUPPLY . . . . but you have to KNOW your market !

Ironically, instead of finding the most information on the internet, findging the best information may be in print. I checked this book out this summer called The Work at Home Sourcebook by Lynie Arden. A very good read for those serious about working from home. It spoke to a very niche audience and I found it in the library.

Now, no one would ever think that I would have made the affiliate marketing connection from a book about working from home in the traditional sense. I say that to say this, do what cricketchamps said and RESARCH. I cannot stress enough that the money is made before the site gets built. Before the adwords campaign. Before you have even signed up with your respective affiliate programs.

You must do your own homework. It will pay off. I just learned about affiliate marketing in December of last year fooling around with the RichJerk eBook. The seed was planted, I spent a year learning and I promise 2007 I will be in the black, way in the black, with residual income. Read, it's fundamental. For starters, check out the second link in my signature to see that the product can be so basic but so profitable.

There really is not a way to make money fast online. You must do your research first and find hot markets to get into. It sounds like you are as fed up with online scams as I was not too long ago. Get away from the surveys. there a waste of time and money. If you really want to become a successful marketer i recommend article marketing. Google adwords is something you want to get into after you have a little bit of experience. while you can make a lot of money with ads if you don't know what you are doing you will loss a lot of money. Wealthy Affiliate University (http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/?a_aid=PyOx84Lv) is a great source to learn the ends and outs of affiliate marketing. You will learn everything you need to know form PPC, to more advance things like creating your own landing page. They have the # I affiliate Forum and resources. I recommend this course for every newbie and advanced Internet Marketer.

Well I know you posted this approximately three years ago, but I'm going to respond anyway. :lol:

It is not enough to merely LOOK at internet marketing. You need to read and between the lines. It is not like window shopping. And to reassure you there is money to be made, if you are willing to pick up the skills on offer.

Paid Surveys do pay but slowly. Anyway, that is an affiliate product which YOU could be selling to someone else.

Get yourself over to Clickbank, sign up and roam through the products on offer and Clickbank's help topics.

If you are still stuck, then of course look at my links below - they have helped me greatly.
