Hi all,
Is anyone using google video ads here? I was wondering what the cost was like vs return.
Thanks

I have a friend that does them and he said that they are pretty effective for his web site. I am planning on doing it but I have to find the best way to deliver my message because I don't want to waste my m :innocent: oney.

how do they work? isn't it tot confusing having a few of them on one webpage?
do you think it's the future way of promoting affiliate products? will it kill adwords ?

Lots of different ways to look at this. Are you looking to earn money by hosting video ads? If so....I don't think it's such a good idea to put many on one page. Think about it from a user standpoint....would you go to someones site and click on more than one video ad?
Will it replace Adwords? Definitely not...adwords is still search driven, and people want results quick. Search is a means to an end, not the end, and I don't see people sitting through a video to get to a search result.
Will it replace Adsense? No, not replace..it's just there for another option. Even in the world of well designed banners, the best converting affiliate links are usually text links :)

Google video ads are context sensitive so fairly targeted. I am not looking to make money from like adsense. As I am also a video producer I am interested in how they are being used and if anyone has conversion data.

I agree video is somewhat the way to go... heck i am even part of the adsense "beta" testing for their Vido on demand type adsense roll out... so far the content is pretty good ranging from NBA, to music videos (genere divided) to Money... waiting for stats to update (they lag 24hrs) to see if its really worth it or not though.

Just found this cool little service that can help you promote affiliate links through videos. It lets your overlay links right into the videos. Pretty cool.
