Google Checkout Buttons on AdWords Ads Being Tested
Google is testing various means of letting users identify Google Checkout stores when searching, Google announced last week.
The filtering option will give merchants another reason to begin using Google Checkout, AuctionBytes writes. One of the methods that Google is testing is to add a Checkout "button" in sponsored-search results to identify that the merchant accepts the service.
Last September, Google added the ability to filter merchants that use Checkout from Froogle search results.
During the test, which will include a small percentage of searches, the button for merchants that accept Checkout will replace the cart symbol.
**MarketingVOX. It strikes me that this, along with tools like the Google website optimiser are going to become essential if you want to rank well on Google.
