Looking for some Hosting help.

Im just curious as to what you all think could be the problem if a site loads for some people but not for others, then it works, then it doesnt... etc.

The hosting company doesnt see a problem. A trace route shows no problem, yet I have people complaining about it constantly and I know there has to be something wrong.

The site will sit there and look like its loading, then nothing.. but if you were to click inside the address bar or hit refresh the site will load.

Could it be a loss of packets?

I think it is a hosting problem, they just don't want to admit it. Sometimes when they have problems and get back online, some of my sites work with some people but do not with others

Thanks for the input, I've called my host three times but he keeps saying nothings wrong, I guess it's time to switch

And I don't think he's lying.. either it's your computer, a DNS problem, or it's a problem with a fiber carrier.. either the host's datacenter or your own ISP.
