we are always looking for good designers. Do you have a portfolio I can look at?

like i said: please contact me. AIM would probably be easiest. Otherwise is there a free web portfolio that i could host my work in to show you? I havent applied for many positions yet so i dont have a 'portfolio' but could make one.

I suggest you to take a lot of time and learn like crazy. Read all kind of forums/tutorials, but most of time spend real experience. Most easy way to get experiences is to make free webpages (for some non-profit organization, for your friends garage band or even for your dog, it really doesn't matter).

I bet that before getting good results you have to invest hundreds or even thousands of hours to learn. Easiest way to learn is to look what looks good, combine the ideas and make "your" site. Real pros don't design this way (their work has to be creative, not copied form somewhere), but it is the easiest way to learn webdesign and Photoshop functions / technical skills. And remember, before getting any well-paid projects (or serious clients) should have at least 3-4 proffessional sites in portfolio. Before you reach that level you will make tons of crap. It is also important to know that most of people aren't capable for desinger job.

I'm pretty sure that all web development companies read all "i have no experience, but i'd like to design / program websites" with delete button. :finger: But anyway, Good luck!

If you already have some sites done, you don't have to some gigantic marketing material called "portfolio". Just post the links.

In Estonia some of the leading advertising agencies / web design companies have only one-page website (or basically haven't website) - their work sells themselves.

Hi ColaDesigns welcome to the board. It's always nice to see starting designers accomplish some really good work after trying - experimenting & learning from others.

I have been around for a while now, it's never forbidden to look at other designer's portfolios. Take a look at mine for example.

And yes some of my work might be adult related. :)
