Got a guy who wants me to install some kind of proxy script for him. He had someone else do it then the host suspended his account. What is this proxy thing? Is it illegal. Should I install it for him? Do they have host that will allow this type of script?

It's what I use to do evil on the net. If you aren't being handsomely paid then don't do it. There's a chance that you could get dirty.

I've seen people start those and get kicked from their host. The other thing is some proxy backends are sniphers. They sniff for passwords and such. Even if it's just an email login in and password, someone will buy it on the black market.

Some are used by companies for massive click fraud.

Find out the name of the company on the back end (like Proxify for example) and Google them and see if they are known for bad things. If not, then it's probably fine.

Let us know how it turns out.

Why do you want to get into that.....that too when you can earn through other better things than this one
