Come on. I find it hard to believe that people can't cough up the $5 - 10 required to register a domain.

Seriously people, if you aren't willing or can not find the resources to generate $5 - 10 to begin your dream of internet fortune, then you may as well throw in the towel.

Here are some money generating tips for those having a hard time raising the money to register a domain:


Look under the seats of your car. I bet if I walked out to my garage, opened my car door, and then reached under the seats, I could not only find $3 or more, but I'd also find -- French fries, that Led Zeppelin CD, and maybe a prize from a happy meal
Look under your couch. Not just under the cushons, but actually UNDER the couch - There's a whole lot of money there.
Sell some stuff you don't want or need. Everybody has things that are worthless to them, but worth at least 10 bucks to somebody else. If all else fails, go ahead and pawn your television - it's not doing you any good.
Sell plasma or sperm - Plasma = at least $10, Sperm = $50 per load I've heard
Get a friggin job. For a day - At MacDonalds. Just stay for the first day and you'll only have to watch the orientation videos. Probably takes around two hours. You'll get two hours of minimum wage. 2 hours minimum wage = 1 domain! After watching the videos, tell your crew leader that you just don't think you're cut out to be a part of the Macdonalds team and that you're gonna register a domain and become an internet marketing legend
Find a venture capitalist. Tell them you're a dot com startup - They'll go nuts for that and probably give you like a billion dollars.
Panhandle. Set your pride aside and hold up a sign. If you're as poor looking as you seem to be, I guarantee you'll make some cash. Do you play an instrument or can you perform magic tricks? You'll bank even more and probably be able to afford a years worth of hosting too. That is only working one weekend.
Buy beer for some teenagers. If beer costs $10 a case, tell the teenagers that it costs $20 a case. You get the idea.
Is this list really necessary? Come on, domains are cheap!
