Did you sign up through the Yahoo $50 promotional credits link? If not, then you wont be credited. However you can still get credits from a Google Advertising Professional's account if your account is no more than 2 weeks old.

I can't test it (already have an account, and Im not from the US), but the following link seems to be working:
https://adwords.google.com/select/main?cmd=Login&sourceid=Yh91503
(There's a message on top of the page: "Sign up for Google AdWords and receive $50* worth of targeted advertising.")

OK. So you can start with $100 in credits? Is that right? I'm looking into AdWords in the near future and would like to start with as much credit as possible.

All you have to do to get advertising credits for google or yahoo is search for them type in adwords advertising credits or yahoo advertising credits and hit go.. if you want a bigger one, try using a dollar amount. I just opened another yahoo account..for my husband, :innocent: with a $100 credit..

Remember, even though the credits are free, treat them like their real money.
There is a real skill to adwords, I wasted my first $50 being stupid, and regret it.
