I have heard that mixing adsense with affiliate products is bad. I would think that adding adsense to the page would be okay, because if they are just browsing, chances are you will get paid when they leave. Are my thoughts on this right or should I kill the adsense?
Thanks

If you mix Adsense with Affiliate Marketing you will lose any customers that find the ad more appealing that your sales page :) Would you rather make a few cents from a visitor or potential dollars? Don't distract the visitor from the main focus of the site.

I agree with thecashcow 100%! Your sales page should have just one objective, to make you a sale, not your competitors.

Guess that is why I am a newbie. I was not looking at the whole picture. I will be doing some redesigning of the site.
Thanks for the input

If you make a separate page for Links on your site, that would be a good place to have asense ads, and possibly get some clicks.

mattandmandie,
Your impressions are right. Why not get something from your traffic if they aren't going to buy your product?
But cashcow has the correct anser to the big picture.
