is it illegal to put some of the information of the product your reffering's website on your article? or do you have to come up with everything yourself?

If the material you are copying is copyrighted then yes. You should just read their page and re-write it in your own words. Highschool writing assignments taught me well :)

Depends on what you're talking about. A lot of merchants have datafeeds with the products they're selling which they give out to affiliates. And in that feed can be a product description which can be used on who knows how many sites. Best to ask the merchant you're working with.
