I've been thinking of doing bum marketing, but I'm not sure where to begin. I want to focus on an area which I know a lot about, but then I don't know how I would be promoting products in those. Here's a short list of areas I can write focused articles on... can you guys help me in seeing how I can promote products with those articles?

Physics
Operating System Programming
Game Programming
General Programming Tutorials
Computer Hardware Repair
Building Custom Computers
Islam

So with these kinds of topic areas...can I sell any products?

Also, should I put the articles on a dedicated "library" section on my website?

Just browse through the clickbank marketplace, and find something that you know something about.

Hi, there. last night i signed up for this (http://www.free-journal-articles.com/affiliate-programs) site just to see possibilities of using select articles there on my affiliate website in-the-making. :) they're all royalty-free you just have to follow their publishing rules. maybe you can find sources there or submit your own writeups. wish i have the same talent or smarts as you, though i am still hopeful. :)

This site is a great site, I've been submitting my own articles there and I have to say they are getting better recognition than ezinearticles..It's a great place to start with the bum marketing ads, not only can you put all your affiliate id's in your ad, but if you have a question about something it's a heck of a lot easier to get a response from Caydel then from the other article sites..You also won't have the competition that many of the other article sites have because his is still growing, anyone who is looking at articles for their own use on sites gets good quality and usually original material, all the better for them...and you..give it a try I don't think you'd be sorry :)

The more articles that are exclusive to that site, the better the recognition for all of us that have put the time into our articles...The fresher the content the more google will like it...The more google likes it the more money for everyone... So please, bye all means write some more :)

Hello - I'm Caydel, and yes - that is my site.

Thanks for the kind words about the site, everyone. BTW - if any of you have usernames there, either PM me here with your Free-Journal-Articles username, or via the FJA contact form with your eWealth ID. Send me your adsense ID, and I will put it into the system so that you can start collecting via the revenue share.

Jetlady - I do have one comment:

How do you expect to use the articles for an affiliate site? Remember, you are not allowed to change the articles in any way, and that includes the links and/or the URLs within the articles.

Here is the quick way through it - when in your adsense account, go through the steps to create an ad. When you get the code, look in it for a number that is like:

pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxx

That is your adsense ID - just PM that to me!

Yes, i am aware of that, Sir. i don't intend to publish the whole article on my site, just the links so that those who happen to find it on the web will also benefit from those articles. i am not an expert in web design but i do know that stuff like this will add value to my site, or anyone's site for that matter; yet, it's not even about traffic. it's mainly to add content if not substance to my site. :)

Ok - just thought I would double check. I have to somewhat protect the interests of my authors!

By the way - I just put a poll together concerning upcoming features for the site. I have a bunch of ideas of things I want to implement on the site, but I figure they should be prioritized according to what my users want or need, so I would appreciate it if you could all vote in the poll!

Also, just in case anyone missed my announcement in another thread, I have implemented a referral system where you collect 5% of the pageviews and clicks of any user who you refer, forever.

Hi Biff!

I saw your sign-up! I hope the site provides some service for you.

Please vote in the poll!

Man - I have a urge for a good Virginia Flake, maybe some Solani 633...

Too bad I'm all out - Frog Morten it is then...

By the way - are you interested in purchasing any pipes? I have about 15-20 that I am putting up for sale soon - Savinelli, Sasieni, Brigham, Digbys, GBD, Joby etc....

While I 'm not a big fan of creating original content solely for the purpose of trying to rank in the SERPs with certain keywords, you might want to do some preliminary searches on keywords relevant to that list of broad topics. Sniff around and see what's already out there, which might give you some ideas both for sourcing products that aren't horrifically competitive, as well as ideas for writing articles that include less competitive keywords that you can rank for.

Keyword research tools can really help you sniff out good long tail keyword phrases and help point you toward narrow untapped product niches. If nothing else, you won't waste time writing articles that will be tough to get referrals and high SERPs positions for. http://www.ewealth.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

In other words, to narrow it down, it might be a useful exercise to go at it from sort of a contrarian approach...what products/topics are NOT saturated?

No, seriously, five percent of the earnings *forever*.

Of course, it may be possible that the site is offline in 20 years, and so the adsense earnings will be *very* slim!
