Please note: We do not tolerate anyone becoming an affiliate just to receive a discount on RapidKeyword. If this happens, our comprehensive tracking system will now automatically remove your license from the system and refund your payment. We enforce this policy to protect our affiliates' efforts and profits.

I wonder since I'm already a cb affiliate if this applies to me. I won't name the program. I just never seen a statement like this before.

A more effective statement would be to state Clickbank's policy that they will only cut paychecks to those that make sales in at least four states, in compliance with federal law. This weeds out casual discount seekers. Legitimate affiliates will probably have some sales history built up in their clickbank accounts. Personally, I don't mind giving personal discounts to these people so they can check out the product that they want to promote.

I have on occassion seen statements like this with affiliate programs. I disagree with it as I would like to test out programs myself before promoting them. Now if I decided not to promote it that is one thing, but I wouold probably return it and as for a refund anyway.

When my Site Patrol product is actually released (within the next couple of weeks), then I will actually encourage Affiliates to buy my product with their Affiliate ID. It will help my rankings and it's a win win situation. My product was going to be released a little over a week ago, but a few issues came up with the software that needs to be fixed. The web site is 100% ready and set up with Clickbank. My product has been approved. But I haven't listed it in the Marketplace yet. And I hope I don't have any sales that says [affiliate="none"] at the bottom of CBs order form.
