View Full Version : My first week

Yesterday concluded my very first week of internet marketing. I've made $3.00, almost all of it through AdSense. My page impressions jumped yesterday to 76, but I didn't have any clicks. :frustrate
I wanted to get feedback on how everyone else did their first week. Better? Worse? I've been adding content to my site fairly regularly and it seems to be helping. I've got some other legit products to review and that should help as well. I'd appreciate any feedback I can get regarding my site. I'm considering focusing on one or two main products and promoting those on the main site with links to reviews of other products that are also good.
So, how was your first week of internet marketing? What did you learn?

Well, not of internet marketing as a whole, but of AdSense and my blog:
Haha! Sorry...I just discovered something hilarious.
See...when I started with adwords, I got a sale on my first click, and that was it that week. The sale amounted to $22.60.
Now, after a week of AdSense, and 32 clicks, I have $22.60 in my adsense account, I kid you not.
Haha I just woke up, and that made my day already.

Made a sale last night. Not much, but it's a start.

don't know if this means much.. but on your blog you link to purchase the golf swing as http://www.golfswingguru.com/?hop=mtsouth13 .. which is wrong so you wouldn't get credit for a sale via your site. should be http://mtsouth13.v=bizonline.hop.clickbank.net

My first week in internet marketing was spent thinking "What the heck should I do" and spending time reading every bit of info I could find :)
I apparently earned $6.42 from adsense in the first week.
Seems like a good start for the first week!

I started by promoting magazines, and in my first week someone bought $1000 worth. With a 30% commission I made $300! Great, I thought, this is easy, and I pumped loads of money in to adwords. By the end of the month I was down $500. But the month after that I made $1500 and its been all good from there :)

I'm coming up on 4 weeks. First week most of my time went to learning about AdWords, PPC and reading everything I could find on affiliate marketing. Still don't know what AdSense is yet. I had one sale Week 1, 2 sales Week 2, 2 sales Week 3, zero sales so far Week 4. Revenue is $116 so far and costs $136, so behind $20  but with free $50 Adwords signup credit less signup $5 - I'm still ahead $25. :)
