Well, I've been promoting the "satellite tv for pc" product on ClickBank for about a month, and I've got two sales, one each from a couple of marketing campaigns that cost me $15/each. The sales I made paid me $33.90 each, but both are PayPal...one from Malaysia another from US. I buy a 2000 clicks textad on paidtoclick.com, and it seems that for every 2000 clicks I've gotten one sale. Or maybe its just a fluke?
So I'm wondering, where do I go from here? How should I expand my marketing? Bum marketing any good? I tried looking at products, but couldn't find a good one that I wrap an article around :( .
And an idea I just had...how feasible is it to make software that displays embedded textads...like in a status-bar type area? Here are some ideas I had for such a software:
Chat client (IRC/MSN?)
Security/encryption software
Scheduler/Organizer
And also an idea for a web-service that allows people to send verified/certified emails...trackable ones, one-time self-destructing messages, password encoded messages, or an email that requests that the reader select one or more options. The status (or statistics) of the emails are visible to the sender. People would pay to send emails through the service. Maybe a longshot eh...
I'm just brainstorming here. Tell me what y'all think :D
