Hi,
I Have been checking this sight out over the last few days. It is real interesting. I have read several posts, but get lost in some of the subject matter. I was wondering if there where other "newbies" in here!
I figure we might as well all learn from each other.
I am just getting into the scene, so forgive me if I ask some dumb questions :)
I myself am an affiliate/copartner for products on Extreme Research (http://performance.myextremeresearch.com)
What products and services are you guys affiliated with?
By reading some of the posts, I know there are alot of people doing adult websites.

For faster money in your pocket you may wanna just try some clickbank affiliate programs (most of the ones on professionalcash.com are very good choices), throw up some ads on google and overture, and start learning how to MAKE money rather than lose it.

You will eventually figure out how to tweak your ads and pick the right cost per click, etc. And I can't think of any faster way for that to happen than jumping right into it. Yea, you will probably lose money at first; most people do. But IMO its the best way to learn.

Also, you don't need a website to promote affiliate programs, but its definitely a good/handy thing to have; in fact, its even MORE handy to have multiple websites; they have many uses

I don't think you are going to do too well trying to make money by getting other affiliates to make money for you Its going to cost a fortune to get good affiliates to go to your website most likely; or you can pay less, for keywords like "online selling" etc etc., but the people that brings to your website probably wont have a clue about affiliate marketing.

Anyways, guess thats it; welcome to the boards. Don't worry about being a "newby", as we all have to start somewhere

I guess I'm still sort of a newby, I've been doing this for about 4 months or so now. I've spent ALOT of time learning in those 4 months though

Struggling for 2 years? Sounds like you are in the wrong biz, not trying to be mean or anything, but if after 4 or 5 months you arent turning a profit worthy of your time you might want to re-evavaluate how much its bring you vs your time spent.

Briantheexplorer, you are paying 15 a month to have a page hosted by the sponsor? thats not right.
if you want a REAL host hit me up on icq

Welcome, first peice of advice, dont put all your marbles in one bag.

OK this might seem different. I took you advice and looked for something in addition to market....with no cost for web sites...and its a great product. I just tried some of the product. I like staying up late, and this stuff is great.
check it out... I could have some sent to you with no obligations or strings.

I just started yesterday...and have already formed a double digit downline!
For you guys that have been selling stuff online for a while now...What do you think of this kind of structure?

By reading some of the posts, I know there are alot of people doing adult websites.

Adult sites are great money maker, Nothing like a Naked girl to get some horny bastard to pull there wallet out. I am everyone else would put this as the top money maker. But it is very time intensive. Because of the big money it has a lot of people doing it. So compatition is fierce, you need to be consistant and unrelenting. I might start this back up after my Kid goes to school. A betty with her legs open is not something my kid should be looking at.

Small websites for small buinesses as my next income maker. Do about one a month for a few bills.

Click bank is next on my list of profit makers. You can promote just about anything. Read the adcopy if it is something YOU would buy give it a go.

Not to be mean but if it goes in your body(death) or your car($10k+) it is going to be a hard sell. People like easy money(clickbank) and easy women(porn).

I am by no means an expert but I'm about 2 years out from being a newbie(first year). The first $100.00 dollars is the hardest, it's get's easier cause you know it can be done. And how to do it.

Some people just cannot make it in porn as it does take lots of work. and huge competition. if you dont know what your doing your just going to be spinning your wheels, but at the same token with porn you will make money by accident if you send clicks, lol.

If I had three to four hours a day I would get back into it in a heart beat. (I know I'm suppose to make the time. ) Yea, you don't even really need a clue to make money. If you do it they will c*m. If you do it right result can be unbelievable. There is just so much traffic it's easy even with bad numbers.
