Hey everyone! New to ewealth... First post... blah blah blah... I've got experience in marketing, and know all about targeted markets. However, I don't have experience in any kind of web advertising! I'd like some help please. I'm a member of clickbank, but where do I go from here. I'm starting to understand the idea's of what to do by reading many many many threads on here. But I can't find anything that breaks it down to a newbie level starting pretty much from scratch. Seems like everyone saying that they're beginning this, already has experience with web advertising of some kind. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!

James

Spend some time at the Google Adwords Learning center:

http://www.google.com/adwords/learningcenter/

And don't be in a rush to spend money on the first keyword software that comes along. Check MY sig link too :)

If I remember correctly you can clear your cookies and use your Clickbank affiliate ID to order Google Cash and get credit for the commission. Go to Clickbank, click on "Earn Commisions", Enter "cash" in the Market Place search box and "Google Cash" should come up as about the second or third listing. Click on the "(50%)" and the enter your Clickbank ID to get the link.

HEY HEY! Welcome to the forum!

Yes, do what Colin says, you really need to be specific as no one will go out of their way to help you from scratch and build a business, not for a fee anyway.

However, people are always willing to help with a specific problem or question.

With respect to keyword software, you might want to check out this link to get a better perspective of the selection:

Don't mean to overwhelm you, but there is a lot of info to cover and a lot of it is pure BS. Just remember that most people are out to sell you something you may or may not need! Caveat Emptor! :shoot:

You just need to do your own research and start figuring it out for yourself. mrosson recommended the link in his sig and that would probably be a good place to start. There isn't any one thing you'll need to learn. There is a lot and you'll need some patience and dedication to make it happen.

hesjim1 - Its getting extremely more difficult to especially for new people. Lots of competition in the affiliate marketing area and lots of new rules that change, it seems, daily.

As others have said, there is no one thing to start. Join more affiliate networks than just CB. Learn to build websites. Read on all the different forums you can. Test products, ads, methods ets.

You need lots of patience, lots of time, deep pockets, faith and luck.

So basically, I would use my clickbank ID in a link to a sponsored site, and pay the search engines on a cost per click or impression basis of my keywords to show my ad to the product or service or information. Then make a comission based off of whether they buy the product or service? And it's all tracked for me? After taking all the adwords courses on google, I kind of got the gist of it. If I'm way off taget, please let me know! lol... Thanks again for all of your help!

Yeah it seems like you have the basic idea, now you just have to affiliate a couple of sites and see if they convert well.

You can visit www.thrillamilla.com for all the details on what you do with the ads you are wanting to learn about.

It's all mapped out on the site.

Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.

Thanks,

James,

Before you go out and buy any keyword software,
try out the Google keywords tools. In my opinion
this little puppy is better than Worktracker. With
Google Kw Tool you can dig down and find EVERYTHING
people type into Google.

I would do some detailed research on the target market you wish to go into, then find your niche.

Best of luck

Check out Wealthy Affiliate, I'm in my 2nd month there and I love it. It costs $30 a month but you get personal coaching, keyword lists, case studies, private forum and more. I finally have some good campaigns going with the help I got from Kyle and Carson.

Two other key points :

1. Act !!! Getting the clickbank ID is the first step ...I know many people who don't take the next step and finally they forget all about it...

2. Remember that sometimes you win and sometimes you learn!!!

Good luck
