My newbie journey

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, and also new to this whole Internet Marketing scene, although I've been a Web Developer for a number of years now For some insane reason I never got into it, but playing catch-up now!

I've just started some Affiliate Marketing (Adwords) and I have some basic questions.

1. I have about 20 ad groups in my first campaign set at 0.05/click. Is it normal to see no clicks or impressions for the first week? I notice that Adwords warn me that my minimum click is below the suggested bid, so does that mean my ads won't show? (My content network is turned on)

2. How many adgroups do you guys have on average before you start showing some profits?

That's it for now, I like this place - good advice, simple forum layouts and not overselling on the ads!

Well you will probally have to raise your per click.

Depending on your keywords but I dont think you will show up to high in ranking for a nickel per click.

Last time I was at adwords playing around google estimated the rank my ad would show up. Like #1 is top spot and so on and the higher my bid per click was the better position I got.
