I recently got an ad accepted by Google, then i found out that you needed a credit card to get your ad activated. Well, I dont have a credit card. Is there any way that I can get around this and get started?

I'm not positive about this but I believe you can use the pay-pal as a way to pay...Check the other posts here in the forum I'll look to see where I saw It...there is a lot of really good info here!!! I know I owe any money I've earned to everyone here... They're great

You can use your bank debit card, doesn't necessarily need to be a credit card.
They don't accept paypal.
Also, welcome to the forum Jefferson10!!

can you use a pay pal account too, or no....I was thinking of getting one myself because somebody used my debit card to purchase over $500.00 worth of shit after I purchased a product online...So I'm not to interested to use it again until they find out exactly where it came from and credit my account...

No, you cannot use paypal, unless you have a Paypal Debit card, then you could use the Debit Card.
See this...https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12396&topic=63
From Google Website
"AdWords does not accept online payment processors like PayPal at this time. We gladly accept several credit and debit cards and, where available, direct debit and bank transfers."

Thanks Miles I'm using my debit now instead of a credit card...mainly because i've had the same bank since i was 17 so they now my spending habits, unlike a credit card who just like you to spend, spend, spend...

They also accpet bank trasfer, which might be more secure than your debit card.. you give your bank itself the info and they transfer it for you..The only thing is it takes a couple of weeks.
