New site for affiliates to promote. Will be clickbank #1 within 2 months. Uses clickbank. Selling a poker bot - these sell like hot cakes.
I've had 3.1% conversion rates with absolute trash traffic from adbrite, paying $0.03/click!
As to my title, I am the ex owner of a #1 marketplace site in clickbank. This site will be up there soon. Get in now before other affiliates have twigged.
Affiliates also get banners, detailed traffic stats, conversion stats etc.

I have to say, that's a great sales letter, but that software is available for free, I have tried it and it made me a little money but it wasn't very consistent. Plus, it only works on a few sites, all owned by the same company. So if you get caught on one, you're basically screwed. It also doesn't work well on higher-limit tables. You can only really run it on .25/.50 tables, because players on better tables are going to be more experienced, objective players. Just my opinion.

There is actually a connection, but not how you think:
Webgurl works for the owner of type-at-home, doesn't even know me.
But i am friends with the owner of type-at-home, recently rewrote his sales letter. And that is seriously hot now...

Just added a prize of a lotus elise for the top affiliate of 2006.
If it's in the UK i'll drive and deliver the car myself, if in the US I'll pay a garage over there for the car and have it delivered

Do you own the rights to the software or work for the person who does?

Haha that's cool. Worry not, I'm by no means accusing anyone of anything, but I blame Biff's enlightening thread for my new found paranoia.
Now there's a webguy too!

Hey how much poker did you end up playing last night?
Well, here's my official review..
I bought and downloaded Poker Bobby last night, During the install you are prompted to install one of 3 different online poker softwares (apparently it only works w/ these 3 poker rooms). I chose the one that was 'highly' recommended, Titan Poker. I set the options in the poker software the way I was instructed to, and opened a play money .25/.50 limit table to test Poker Bobby. I watched it play for about 20 mins, and it was indeed winning a few hands, I started the table with $1000 play dollars and was up to about $1005 within 30 mins. Cool I thought, this thing seems to work!
So I proceeded to open a real money account.. Well, that didn't work out very well, using the credit card option my card was declined. Apparently Wells Fargo blocks money going to online poker sites. Ok, I tried their other option Netteller.com. All of their funding options were also declined by my bank as well. Then I got a call from Wells Fargo telling me there's fraud activity on my account, I had to explain that it was just me...
I never got the promised $75 in my poker account either, but I did get a deposit of $12 some how. So I thought that should be enough for Poker Bobby to make some money.. I joined a .05/.10 limit table and watched for about another 30 mins. Poker Bobby got my account to about $14 before I went to bed. I left it playing all night.. I got up this morning and I had $3,024 in my account!!! haha.. nah I'm just kidding.. I only had $5.60 ... So overall Poker Bobby lost money over the 12+ hours it played.. but it was still going when I got up.. Perhaps it was on a losing streak, and would turn around? I shut it off before finding out.. So, this morning I submitted for my refund from clickbank.. Poker Bobby does not live up to the hype. Although it does play well, it folded on some hands I thought I should have played and it would have won..
Oh yea, '126 download spots remaining' on the landing is not real.. it always resets to 126...

Good Review Chillware.
Although, you can't expect to outsmart the casinos. These games are statistically proven to win in their favor. No $47 software program is going to earn you $1000's. Even hundreds. In fact, in the long run you will lose no matter what.
I always have to wonder, if this program wins them so much money why would they share it with anyone. They could just sit back and rake in the dough instead of dealing with their $47 customers or whatever.

Was the software you used PokerBobby or a different software?

Hey chillware - open it on a play money account, and let it run for a few days... Perhaps it might win it all back somehow.... I would be interested in seeing the stats on it...

I used Poker Bobby, I meant that during the install of Poker Bobby, you are prompted to download and install one of three poker rooms that Poker Bobby is compaitble with..

You may be right.. but It's annoying to have it running all the time as the Poker Window always pops up to the forground and takes focus when ever it's my players turn to make a decision, even tho Poker Bobby is playing, the software still pops up every 10-60 seconds and makes it really difficult to actually use my computer while its running.. I need another one to run it on.. or i could set up MS Virtual PC again.. hmmmm

lol, the countdown went down to about 103 for me and when I went on the PC upstairs it reset back to 130 for me (while the PC downstairs was still counting down from 103).
If it wasn't against the FTC's rules that would be a great idea. Unfortunately it could land you in scolding hot water.

Good review. In my opinion the bot is not programmed well enough to win consistently. It is possible to come out ahead and then cash out but only if you are disciplined. One night I went from $35 to $90+ but then it was down to $60 by the following day. It is programmed very conservatively, and it folds on nearly every hand before the flop, except the really good ones (anyone that knows Holdem rules knows what I mean) which I like, but it can get annoying, and if I'm watching it, I often have to correct it to play a little more aggressively than that.

So it sounds like it make be agood sell to the average joe's. It's almost like playing the lotto, people keep playing and keep playing hoping for that one big break. With this software the client might want to keep trying it hopeing that the software will one day put them on top. All it takes is for the customer to get a couple of good hands and they will get hooked. However us smart people know better.

Yeah. However, if the software was more easily customizable (and it would take a good poker player / programmer to do that effectively), the concept DOES work, it just takes a lot of hard work to program it right. Whenever you're playing against other human players, a bot always has the advantage, if it is programmed well.

I bet 90% of the other players on the sites this software forces you to use are bots also.. I wonder how we can find out the actual stats?

I am curious if you are getting signed up through an affiliate link (or somehow emulating the cookie/tracking process) when you buy this software... If they are not.. sorry for giving them the idea? If so, they win no matter!
The idea of all these people using bots makes it very unappealing for me to play online poker. Even against regular players online, the idea of not being able to bluff or see physical reactions is a turn off!
Interesting though!
