I am looking for a thumbnail maker that lets me see the image pic what area i want and then makes it an automatic size that i have asked for, almost like the thumb maker from comus thumbs but not web based

that just makes the thumb of the full image i wanna be able to select what part i want it to make

Use the crop tool in photoshop.
You set the size and then just slide it over the area you want to crop and voila you're done.

Looks nice, I've been looking for one of those. :D

You might try doing a search on Download.com, I'm sure you'll find a few thousand good shareware apps on there. lol

I think you can try out everything in photoshop as it is a very good software for such works
