All my numbers are about right on as far as clicks and such.. damn Friday's - people need to be buying and stop day dreaming about the weekend!

I'm seeing exactly the same thing. I average 5 or 6 sales a day with one particular campaign, and suddenly had 5 days with no sales whatsoever. I was still seeing conversions in adwords for multiple sales every day. I created a brand new clcikbank account, redirected my links, and had 5 sales in 3 hours. I don't know if this is just random, or if something screwy is going on at clickbank with some accounts.

I see Google conversions but no sales too.
Last Sunday was bizzare. Hundreds of clicks, but nothing in either CB or Google so I paused Sunday evening. :frustrate
Monday - started to see sales on Google but they never showed up on Clickbank - all during this week! So I have been in and out of "pause mode" on CB stuff.
I can track every other network just fine. I'm starting to think I'll give CB a miss completely. Revisit in a few months maybe...what a PITA.
I already have a shitload of accounts, and don't need anymore - although might be worth experimenting a bit like Juniper did, I seem to be in constant experiment mode with CB. :weird:

I am beginning to get really pissed off about this. How many guys in here have complained about this very same issue, time and time again. I track sales thru ALL of the major Search Engines, and they are all saying sales, yet CB is NOT showing them.
Are we all being "Hacked"??
WTF Already.
I'm not in business to lose money. If CB has some issues, maybe they should fix them. Or better yet, some of the Publishers in here, including Spy Profits should ask CB to get to the bottum of this, or switch to another payment processor.
I am not blaming Spy Profits, don't get me wrong. I just think Spy Profits as a Company holds alot more bargaining power than me, "Average Joe Affiliate".
On another note. Does anyone know what is happening with the "Teaser Search"? Lev, maybe you can add some insight into these issues, please.

Wow! That's is really strange! Something is definitely going on, 5 days with NO sales, then 5 in 3 hours after you set up a new account. STRANGE

Can you, as a Publisher contact CB and express concerns on our behalf. I have called them, but always get the same old "Everything is Normal".
I'll send you a PM with the person you need to speak to if you need it. Just PM me and I can give you her name, but you should have it.

I think half the competition was wiped out by Google Adwords fiasco. My CPCs are gone down too, actually I lowered them when my page position went up. :)
Problem is I'm not doing the "clicks coming in in craploads" thing because Clickbank will not show any sales. At this point, I'm in pause mode after 100-200 clicks or so. :shoot:
BTW - I have seen this CB behavior on and off for months now, but this week was totally fubared. And I had refund hell on last weeks stuff which had matched Adwords conversion rate to a "T" - well almost.
I'm pretty new at this so it's difficult for me to tell if things are working the way they are supposed to.

Yeah, this has been discussed many other times on a few other forums I frequent. I know a couple people that actually pause campaigns for a day or two after not seeing sales and then when they restart them.. BOOM multiple sales just like before. Clickbank will always tell you that there isn't a problem though. I REALLY wish they would setup some type of tracking in there system.

Set your own tracking!! If you own a domain, use redirects to capture your hits, reffered http, IP, and all other info you would like. If you use email to promote products, you can capture who has clicked, impressions even, if you use images of course. This will help you figure out problem areas, marketing tips to fix, areas where promoting is not paying off... etc

I do everything you mentioned.. still won't help solve a problem on the clickbank end recording sales properly.

The problem may be Google. They have, either yesterday or the day before, "rolled out there new quality score landing page initiative" which so far has been like the 29 crash for affiliate marketers. :) What has happened due to these new strict standards is many keywords will have say a 500% higher minimum bid.
I haven't heard anyone talk about this on ewealth, yet it seems to be the only thing anyone is talking about on every other forum. Has anyone here been hit because of this?
So far I have only noticied a minor hit thanks to our friends at Google.

I just had 2 sales on 45 clicks in the last few hours - since I first posted
So now I want to go and crank up my campaigns again. But this has happened before, and when I crank them up, they start losing sales again, i.e. there will be a disparity between Adwords tracking and CB tracking. :weird:
Up to a few day ago - on my spreadsheet - the disparity has been 30% since June 1st.
What bugs me is that I can usually predict behavior on Google conversion stats, but I can never predict it on CB stats.

Hi Machiavelli,
I would summarize the problem as MPIO put it:
This week is Gross, not only Friday. I have had one of the worst weeks ever.
I am wondering if CB is working right because I have been showing conversions and NOT seeing the sales show up in my account!!
This is about the disparity between Google conversion data, and Clickbank sales data.
In my opinion, the Google algo is a different problem. What is frustrating for me is that I can deal with the Google algo problem, but I can't deal with the Google-Clickbank disparity problem.

Have you looked at your Adwords account? Are all of your kws active? The new landing page quality score issue that Machiavelli mentioned is a VERY big deal ... and there's hardly a peep about it here.
My most profitable campaign was hit pretty hard (kws that were active for under .25 now are requiring .50, $1.00 and even $5.00.). Apparently the "quality" of my landing page is low ... apparently no one told the visitors this since the conversions have been solid for months.
I have other campaigns that were not even touched. The whole implementation is strange and frustrating.

Yep, it happens. Everyone always said they were in disbelief at first and figured it had to be a coincidence. Then they tried it again and same thing. I know people that do it religously now because its the only way they can keep their sales consistent. There's definitely a glitch in the matrix somewhere...

CB is highly popular, in my opinion, becasue they are convenient and easy to use. Kind of like "Coke" or "Pepsi". People have been drinking that type of soda for yesrs and are used to it.
One Network/Digital River, as shown below this area carries many of the same products. They actually provide FREE TRIALS on some of their Software as well and they have a very large Inventory. Maybe check them out.
After August, I will be switching some of my stuff over to them for one other reason. They pay you a Bonus and their Merchant fees are lower, meaning you earn more for promoting the very same products.
I am not endorsing One Network. I just know they pay higher from the exact same products I promoted thru ClickBank

Yes Biff.
Once again, I am only speaking from experience. I promoted one or two offers in the past. While it took a little time to start receiving payments, once they started coming in, they were timely. A product that was paying me $23.50 on CB, paid $26.21 on DR with an additional $0.17 cents per sale as a Bonus.
Another thing I liked about Digital River is the Merchants set up numorous links to different landing pages. As we all know, most products on CB go directly to the Merchants main page. With DR, you can have your landing page go right to the Main Site, or the Specific Product you want to push. You can even have the link go directly to the Order Page which is nice for people who build their own sites with their own content.
They also have some pretty recognizable Brands from the likes of Norton and Mcaffe in their inventory as well.
One of the reasons I want to consider an alternate is simply because of the numerous anonomylies happening with CB lately. When 9 out of 10 people consistantly raise the same issues of "Vanishing Sales", something just doesn't sound right.
Maybe check them out and decide for yourselves.
Best of Luck

Thanks Mpio. I did check them out and was just waiting for your reply.
As far as missing conversions at CB are concerned, I too have had my suspiscions. Each time I did extensive testing (including marketing affiliate's same products through multiple affiliate networks) and the results always showed more than a 95% probability that CB was accurate.

Nice to hear you did some testing for us Biff. This makes me a little more happy so to speak.
Like I said, I am not endorsing DR. Just going to maybe move around my promotions a little more once the Fall comes around. Test out some new offers and means of delivery. Maybe even make a "Nickle" or two in the process.

I just found a perfect replacement for Clickbank called Paydot... they offer all the same services (more actually) and are much cheaper. Vendors are free for a start... If you look at the fees page you will see the differences compared to Clickbank.

they're not a perfect replacement, they've been around for awhile... most people know about it and many dislike it for multiple reasons.
