Last year at this same time I was making an insane amount of money off of stateauctions.org (about $15,000 in PROFIT for July & August).
All of my sales came from promoting it through PPC.
But ever since then, it has gradually gone downhill for me, along with some other people that I know.
Now its at the point where all it does is LOSE money pretty much. I don't get it?? what has changed so much in the course of a few months? It used to convert pretty decent, now it converts god awful :(
Any ideas? suggestions?
Lastly, do you still have any good affiliates? How many sales do some people drive per day?

It's been pretty competitive, to say the least.
Some good questions, I'm interested as well :)

Yea but the weird part is that I don't think its the competition at all. Most of the keywords I was using didn't really gain much competition AT ALL over the last few months, so I really can't figure out what is going on :(
The same thing happened to another of my affiliate programs as well.

Matt,
I couldn't agree with you more on all your points. Lev, I look forward to hearing your announcements and possible raising of the commissions.

I hate to say it, but I think its gonna take alot more than a commission increase to make this puppy rise out of the ashes like a pheonix, LOL!
Personally I don't get why this happened though, as both of Lev's sites look great, and to me, it seems like a pretty appealing offer.
Maybe it is because of the fact theres so many people out there trying to label these kind of sites as a "scam".

I believe googles changes had something to do with it as well.. Time will tell.

I send traffic from overture, which is dead as well, so the google changes theory doesn't really add up :(
And I don't think its due to competition, since I sent a TON of traffic just from one trade-name keyword, which had pretty much no competition, and even THAT has shit out :(
It doesn't make much sense.

My Stateauctions Sales are not as good as they were at this time last year. It still remains profitable and I will continue to promote it.
But ...... My Stateauctions sales have been doing quite well lately! I hope that it continues to get better and better. :)
