Hey guys (and ladies), for those of you who are vendors w/ ClickBank, without even doing anything, how fast did you see your first affiliate sale?

Depends on the program. I sent 265 clicks to one campaign, before I cancelled it. Another, I have 2 sales (1 refund) in about 75 clicks.

I other words, there is no way to know. I think my policy is going to be to cut it off at 200 clicks.

No, I mean, if you set up your own ClickBank product, and it get's listed in the marketplace, how soon someone else makes a sale for you, not yourself.

My apologies. I definately misunderstood you.

I've never tried to sell on clickbank myself, so I may not be the best one to answer this here.

I would imagine that you wouldn't get much action unless you worked to try to attract affiliates to sell your product. I mean, without any history, there isn't much to attract affiliates over all the thousands of other products up there.

I hope someone out there can give you a better answer than I can!

No problem ;). Well, there's absolutely no way to attract affiliates on ClickBank except your title and description (And a top position in a category, of course). So just by chance, I was wondering how soon vendors saw their first affiliate sale.

Well, I don't have a product...yet.. but lately I've been looking through the newest products..looking for items that aren't saturated with affiliates yet.. if others are doing that I would imagine a product in a popular niche could see affiliate sales pretty quick.

I wouldn't rely on the ClickBank marketplace, if all you do is wait on that it could take ages before someone discovered your product.

BTW, I think you should FIRST tweak your conversion rate on AdWords and THEN try to attract affiliates/other sources of traffic.

Start a blog, offer some useful insight towards something, create a website with content....These options involve some work so i'm not sure if you would be interested..
