I'm a bit confused (actually, I'm really confused) about the 49.50 product approval fee. Is it a one-time setup fee for the seller, and after that the seller can sell as many different types of products as he / she likes, or does the seller have to pay the fee for every different product they wish to sell?

It's really for the hoplink because you can have more than one payment link under the same account, 001, 002, 003 etc, but for every hoplink you want it costs $49.95

Sell as many as you like once you have paid the initial fee.

Yes, under the same account. Each additional account is extra.

The difference is that each hoplink only directs to one product, and you only get one in the marketplace, for each $49.95 fee that you pay.
However, you can sell up to 50 products, but affiliates can only promote one (per hoplink)....which means you could only pay once, but you can tell they don't like it. :)
