Yes, it is important to choose the best fit industry/domain. Any affiliate program should be thoroughly evaluated before one thinks of joining it. Plus affiliate programs offer most promising opportunities to earn money.

A quality affiliate program will do everything possible to develop trust with their affiliates. My company recently started paying our affiliates twice a week, and we are always looking for new ways to strengthen our working relationships. What other things do you think would encourage affiliates and potential affiliates to market our products?

Hi Doodka,
Just give them a good offer so that they will continue to market your products and Learn about the product, use it, and see what its like. Rate it out of 10 and decide if other people would want it.

Finding a valid program can be done as follows.
Use an affiliate directory to find a few programs that interest you and match your sites niche.
Now once you got them programs, ask about them in forums where you should hopefully get replies from others that are using them and having some success. From there you should be able to work out which one or ones are the best for you and your site.

Hi guys,
I actually started outing the companies who have terrible affiliate programs. Is there not a forum on here that does that? I would think everyone would want to warn others if they had negative experiences.

Jamian, your site shows up on WOT as a phishing site. Did you know that?
I just had a terrible experience with WOT - web of trust (my *ss) & so I don't trust anything WOT says anymore.
I've been warning others of what damage they can do to people's sites b/c of how their control freak forum members just dropped my great rating of 75 down to 59 accusing me of all sorts of things that weren't true.
Not saying they are wrong or right about your site, just letting you know in case you didn't, b/c I signed up for your list.

You can also pull content from RSS websites, just be sure to give credit to the original source. I personally wouldn't want anybody ripping my content off. :)
