Well here's me congratulating myself on new-found superstar status on Ezine Articles! My second article, and the first one to get approved has put me in the spotlight on the high ranking home page of Ezine Articles... And I have the privilege of including an Expert Author logo on my site!

....Er.... and then I read on one of the forums that everyone gets Expert Status when they have an article approved.

So, is there any significance to getting one's article featured on their home page? A quick look shows me a long list of articles that have just been approved, and then I see there are currently 254,810 Expert Authors on site.

OOO-ERRR... I'm not so special after all. Perhaps it's time for Ezine articles to include a Super or Super Dooper Expert Status, or should they elect us Gods of Super Dooper Ezine Articles.... Yippee.... I'm a GSDEA, now bow down before me you lowly e-wealth menials.

If anyone's interested my Super Dooper Expert Article is here (http://ezinearticles.com/?id=3802570)... for what it's worth.

Great article on giving - and how refreshing!

"Pay it forward" is something I often try with great effects. Thanks for your inspiration!

...One other thing about giving, I've been on the mailing list of Mr Positive (David Boufford) for about 3 years... He has shared the stage with such notables as Anthony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra etc... David has agreed to take part in an interview with me sometime next week.

David is a fantastic giver... His frequent email quotations are a source of inspiration, and I'm so happy to be able to promote him (and his emails) through this interview.

I'll be announcing the interview to my subscriber list in a few days time.

Norman :)

Ezinearticles are a hard nut to crack when you first start of IM'ing

Congrats to you my friend.

Thanks Fergal, though the point I was making was that Ezine Articles makes it sound like everyone is so special when they get an article published. My intitial reaction to becoming an "expert author" was WOW! ...And then the penny dropped, and I discovered that everyone gets that title when they have an article published.

I agree, it's quite hard writing your articles to fit their guide-lines for what is acceptable. I think you have to be a prolific writer to get anywhere with this type of marketing. I can do it, but it takes an awful lot of time, but everything gets easier the more one does it.

Very difficult when one wants to do so many different things... The specialists win out in the end. I have only one pair of hands, so may never become a specialist at writing ezine articles. :innocent:

I know what you mean! I thought it was cool when I was an expert author but noooo not me! :( At least I got a mug and a sticker from them last year for Christmas! That was special!
