I remember the day back then when I just started out...

I decided to experiment with affiliate marketing and so I bought a domain, and then redirected it to a Clickbank product salespage.

I proceeded to write a few articles on that product which I submitted to EzineArticles.

Mind you at that time, like any newbie, I didn't even really know what I was doing other than following a money making method which I came across on a forum.

A few weeks later, I logged on to Clickbank and saw $82!

Three months later... over $1000. That was the moment I knew Internet marketing was for real.

Now, I've moved on to bigger things... bigger projects... advanced experiements... bigger profits.

But there's nothing like that first sale, that first paycheck to inspire you on the Internet marketing road to riches... Ahhh... sweet memories...

For those zero fighters out there yet to make their first sale, keep working on it!

I remember the feeling of making my first sale online. It felt great! It was just like the feeling I had when I sold My first Kirby Vacuum Cleaner When I was in high school.

That's a great testimonial! My story is similar. I started promoting through article writing as well. The money was great but what really made me feel warm and fuzzy was seeing my articles ranked on the first page of Google for my keywords! That always pleases me.

Well, it wasn't a particular thread that led me to where I am now. It's actually a continuous process of learning, implementing and testing through my own experience to where I am now.

If you are referring to the money making method of that thread which got me started, it is what's commonly known as bum marketing, and the way it goes is really simple...

You purchase a domain, redirect it to an affiliate page on Clickbank (or another other affiliate website). Then you write the hell out of articles and submit them to article directories such as EzineArticles, while providing the affiliate link in the articles.

If readers click on your affiliate link in the article, lands on the affiliate page and buys something, you get paid a commission. Cha Ching!

I'm pretty sure that's how many other Internet marketers first started out.

There is nothing like having your first sale since it motivates you even more to go out and do this business. I love making money on the net since it is so much fun. It does requires hardwork and time, but your efforts do pay off in the long term.

I think that first sale makes you realise it is really possible. I remember my first clickbank sale and it just looked great to see that column read something other than zero.
