Hey everyone, this is my success story.
Now I'm not rich, because this consultancy serves a dieng market, but that market won't be dieng for long. It will eventually turn around, and when it does I'll be king. So I consider it a success, even though it's not putting my butt in a new mercedes, mansion, jet, yet!
I have over 850 engineers, architects, designers, CAD operators, surveyors, and draftsmen from all corners of the world that form eautocad.com; the worlds largest online consultancy of these professions.
How did I do this? I'll tell you. I used statistical information to find which sites actually were going to turn out traffic, customers, clients, etc. By placing my propaganda on these pages, it allowed me to effectively market my business directly to the proposed audience. By streamlining the enrollment process, and making it FREE, I was able to create over 850 professionals that I can outsource projects to anytime I want. The funny thing is that the tool I used to do this I released for public use after my consultancy was established, and now it's considered to be a very promising contender for internet marketing online tools, again with only 7 months (500 members/ businesses using it).
What is the power in this? Think about it. A consultancy with unlimited power and no overhead other than server fees.. HUGE profit margins. Most of the projects I deal with are high dollar, over $1,000 and sometimes can go as high as millions of dollars. The problem other consultancies have is that they must pay huge over heads for sky scraping offices, multiple locations, etc. Not me. I have locations in every capitol in the USA, and in all of the richest cities through out the world. So i can effectively under bid my competition by so much they won't even bother. Most charge $3-5k, I charge $800.00 and still make a decent amount of profit.
For instance, if you type "Orlando CAD" in google, you'll see orlandocad.com in the results.. That's me; type new york cad in google, you'll see newyorkcad.com; that's me. The list goes on and on.
We got our first 1,000,000 hits six months into it. :mooning:
