Hi Silver,
Here are some quick thoughts:
1. Don't rely on the networks to recruit affiliates for you.
2. Make sure you actively manage all of your network relationships by keeping in touch with your account managers and supporting your program through other online marketing efforts.
3. Actively recruit your own affiliates through blog and forum postings, directory listings and emailing affiliates directly.
4. Add an affiliate sign-up page to your site with a section where affiliates can sign-in with their names, website url and email address. This will allow you to retain their contact details so that you can reach out to them for future promotions, but whatever you do, don't bother them.
5. Affiliate programs do not do well on their own you have to support them through SEO and PPC campaigns as well as be active in forums and blogs.
Hope this helps

Affiliate marketing should be target specific. We need to give product/service what people require. I wrote an example article on how best you make money from ebayPN affiliate program by targetting specific people. Interested?.. look on my blog in second signature link.

My best advice is do not spend money on courses claiming to make you successful until you have done lots of reading from freely available sources.

the best thing is to not go to much of the money pulling orders at the first itself.. its better you have to be patience initially till you get success without any loss with your genuine clients support... I also thank others for their technical tips for this thread...

Decide what is it you really want!
99% of the people start their online journy to make money,
the most difficult thing is to combine it with something you enjoy or even love to do, because if not, you will quit,
Take the time, read, learn, and than decide what you really want to do,
I found that many people join affiliate marketing because they want to make money with self growth which is very powerful, in that case don't try to sell iphones.....

With Internet Marketing, there are many ways to go, from affiliate marketing to SEO to social media to email marketing. What was she doing? Her answer surprised me. Essentially, her focus was SEO, and her daily grind consisted of keyword stuffing clients’ websites.Anyone who knows a good search engine optimization expert knows that keyword stuffing is not an approved tactic. Perhaps this is a fact that her agency overlooked, so as a good friend, I told her that it would be in her best interest to learn about approved tactics through the many free blogs, to engage in acceptable and informative (though not free) SEO training, and to read the best SEO book/training program.
