Some of the shareware websites are getting an enormous amount of traffic. What if you could put a link to your website on such a site ? It would attract thousands of visitors ! And what if you could do it for free ?
Of course, Shareware sites do not allow this. They only allow exe files eventually zipped, but exe.
But I've seen a cunning marketer who gets around it. It is a bit of a Black Hat technique, but I can guarantee you, it works, because I've tried it myself.
The whole technique is free, you only need if you do it on a big scale a piece of software called Robosoft, a
Submission Utility for Shareware Professionals which will submit to hundreds of shareware sites, but even this is free at least for the first 30 days.
You simply make an exe file out of your html ! And to make it a bit more sophisticated, make a flash intro which forwards to your website.
Paid money-making programs are not always the right choice for online marketing newbies. All the secrets to making money online revolve a simple, yet important, concept - the perfect match between the product you're promoting and the needs of the market you're operating in.
I used the submitting soiftware to submit to some 160 sites, which on average were generating 2 to 3 visitors a week. 400 real prospects a week ! That's not nothing !
This means that, to have your exe 'product' downloaded from the shareware sites, you have to give it a name that matches the subject of your website. The 'cunning marketer' I mentioned had one of those 'pie-in-the-sky' get-rich-quick websites andhis 'program' was called 'Internet Millionaire Maker'. If you're into traffic you could call your 'program' "Traffic Generator".
If you need more info, I've explained the technique and several others, and the script if you want to make a flash-intro - script is free as well, I'm not trying to sell you anything here - in my ebook which you can download for free via the link in my signature.
Let me know how it works out for you, send me your story and I'll feature you in my next newsletter.
