I have checked ALL the affilate sites out, or maybe not all but most out and this seems to be true. If you get the product at least 3 days after it comes out and make a solid lens you usually make bank for 2 or 3 week!!!

yeah try hubpages though it pretty good just wrote 10-15 article link them to your hubpages page and link them to your squidoo to get some strong backlinks and boost your rating in the serps for google, yahoo,msn, etc.

Hubpages has a lot of cool feature too.....

it seems that everyone is looking for the big "public offering" type campaigns. do any of you look for small closed networks that don't use a ton of affiliates but still have very high dollar returns for those affiliates that are accepted?

Squidoo lenses don't rank well anymore. You can do well with some long tails but don't expect enough to feed your family. I use squidoo lenses to link back to my money sites and Google likes that. If you really want to rank using a hosted solution use wordpress.com or blogger.com (blogger is owned by google).

You can also use Weebly for linking. Weebly sites are super easy to make.
I personally use all of them. Wordpress, Squidoo, Hubpages, Weebly, etc. All for linking my articles. I favor Ezinearticles for article submission.
