I'm knew to affiliate programs, but I'm struggling as a marketing professional to identify who my audience is. Can anybody steer me to clear, comprehensive information about who comprises this marketplace...demographics...sales figures, etc.?
Are products like this even worth the hours of setting up profiles?

I think your site is more targetted towards affiliates, especially newbies just starting out. You can also target the general "get rich online" general traffic, but since you go into detail about Google adwords this might confuse them.

I would say your site in your sig would target people wanting to develop an online income.
Try to spend some time getting to know the program you've decided to promote so you can feel more confident when you are communicating with potential customers.
It can be very confusing for people new onto the internet as they get bombarded with emails and ads etc spouting all the 'apparantly' latest and greatest things to help you earn a zillion dollars over night.
Try to keep things in perspective if you can and try to learn as much as you can about marketing in general before you spend too much money on joining any programs.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any further help with getting started.
Cheers
