Earlier this morning, I wrote a blog on goal setting for success and wanted to provide it here. Hopefully some people will find it interesting and will refer it to some other friends. Although it includes a article by Scott Hughes (of http://www.warriorism.info) its still a beneficial article.

Check it out at http://www.cashtalkz.net/14-set-a-goal-for-success.html

I would also appreciate some input from everyone about my blog...

nice blog. the only thing was the pop-up add for "getting your site indexed in 48 hrs" came up a little fast. you might make people click the back button too fast with that. other than that, nice setup. great article read too.

^^ Thank you for your help... I'll remove the popup banner for now. I only had the banner up there just in case somebody else wanted to advertise but I can't find anyone who wants to advertise in that space ($15 a month.)

Nice site, babyboy! How long have you been involved in online marketing? Your blog has a very clean and well-organized look and feel to it. Keep up the good work! :)

Does anyone know of information on simple, quick ways to build clean lists?

You may want to consider placing more relevant content at the top of the page, and less advertisements. My first impression of the site was that I was being marketed to, rather than doing research by reading a blog.

^^ I am not sure where your seeing being advertised to. The "inline" banners are paid spots by advertisers and is not meant to be obtrusive. Being sold to would be to place banners through out the entire blog (every other category.) I appreciate your opinion but the 300x250 banners will stay. Plus... one rule of thumb to blogging is add an image or something to be easy on the eyes. Keeping it in a "book" form will stray users away because they'll feel thats its too much text for their eyes to adjust to (or something like that. It was recommended by ProBlogger.net who has over 35,000 RSS Subscribers so he should know what he's talking about.)

Good articles are hard to come by. Especially, most of them come with strings attached. Encouraging and inspiring others to succeed without expecting is noble.

Thanks for the great article.

Hello babyboy06,

Just browsed the site you've posted and read your article. Wonderful one! However, just a suggestion about the font style and size you have used in there. If you may allow, it would be better if you use the normal size with an ordinary font style in it so that viewers like me who have an eye problem won't have difficulty reading the article.

Thank you...

Nicely written, infact we all are aware of these principles but its just that most of us are not in that 'frame of mind' to achieve success.

I think before putting ourselves into hard work it is very important to have a strong positive belief that we will be successful.there shouldn't be an iota of doubt regarding this.

In recent days I have seen this there is some new blog and articles that are modified with the subject setting goals and there is huge idea of some person and they are also described in their own settings in their life. The topic defines that they first set a goal and then working for acquiring the goal.I just like it and read many times by searching it.

setting goals is good but are they realistic goals that will one that are achievable?this things should be put into consideration when setting goals cos i know of a friend who sets unrealistic goals that he cannot achieve and he turns around to blame external forces for being responsible his failures.

Nice blog, clean and well laid out.

Some tips on setting goals:

When setting goals the most important thing to do is know that your end step is clear and defined and that you are stating it in present tense, as if it is already in your life.

It is important however to set goals in relation to how you want to feel. How will you feel when you reach your first $15,000 a month income, or how will you feel when you have achieved your work/life balance? This along with belief and determination will bring assured success.

It is very much necessary for a person to set a goal, as the goal make to have a success, without goal success in not gain, if a person set a particular goal then he or she definitely works hard to complete the goal and which result in the success.

The article is actually very inspiring. Yes, success means different things to different people. From the article i think i can sum up what is needed to be a success :

1. Have a goal
2. Have a plan to reach that goal
3. Be flexible (if one way doesn't work then find a another way)
4.Take consistent action everyday until you reach that goal

Getting rich is important. Being wealthy is better. You can be rich and have relationships that suck. On the other hand you can be spiritual, moral and broke. That's not wealth either. Find happiness and joy and you'll have a quicker path to both. Thanks for starting the thought process....

banners are compensable spots by advertisers and is not meant to be obtrusive. Beingness oversubscribed to would be to situate banners finished out the entire blog (every otherwise accumulation.) I increase your instrument but the 300x250 banners will slip. Positive... one ascendence of moulding to blogging is add an image or something to be simple on the eyes. Ownership it in a "product" change testament travel users gone because they'll perceive thats its too such matter for their eyes to adapt to (or something equivalent that.

The only other thing I can think of is to keep your goals realistic. Whether it was here, on Ezines, that I read it, or somewhere else, I forget now, but this one poor chap was determined to write some phenomenal number of articles over, I think, a six month period.

If I may inquire jamieklaz, what is 'good money' /mo.
We just started using Clickbank's services and are looking for outside opinion on the matter.

Are your products $200+ 50% referral range?

Kind Regards,

Identify your personal values and mission statement. Figure out the goals you want to achieve. Write your goals down. Make sure the goals are SMART and they are top quality goals. List the skills and knowledge required to reach your goal. Develop a personal action plan. Review your progress and update your goals accordingly. Celebrate your success. Start the process all over again.

Having a goal is essential for success as it pushes you to have a plan. Its the best to have a step-by-step plan for your business so you won't forget to do anything. Its easier to point out where you have made a mistake too which makes you learn new things along the way.
