I'm launching a new CB product soon, but the primary two word domain for my product (i.e "ProductName.com") is already owned by a squatter. I'm negotiating to buy it, but not sure if that will work out.

However both "Product-Name.com" and "ProductName.net" are both available. I'm looking for opinions on which format is better from a marketing/branding stand point. Would love to hear from Miles & Lev on this.

I think your better off adding a attention grabbing word then adding a hyphen or going with a dot net. Something like superproductname.com or productnamesecrets.com. This will not only make it easier to get the domain but will make the domain sell itself. Just my thoughts.

I totally Agree with Adrian.
Rather than using hyphen or .net, it is better to try to find out .com domain.
